In this photograph the majestic beauty of Yosemite Valley is complimented by the wispy clouds of a December day. In 1851 Dr. Lafayette Bunnel, a member of the first non-native group to visit the valley, wrote, "It seemed to me that I had entered God's holiest temple, where were assembled all that was divine in material creation. For days afterword I could only think of the magnificence, beauty and grace of the waterfalls and mountain scenery . . . ". In 1859 Horace Greeley wrote, "I know of no single wonder of Nature on earth which can claim superiority over the Yosemite." This place is truly one of California's most beloved wonders.
I love photography! When creating a photograph I'm looking for lines, shapes, colors, positions and relationships amongst all that is before the camera. I also love finding the right blend of light and dark, as well as near and far visual interest for each photograph I make. I've been blessed to live my whole life in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, California. This truly is a magnificent place! As you will discover my photography is a celebration of seeing the beauty and grandeur that surrounds me.
