Artist's Description
It's no wonder that years ago before the outside world knew about the existence of the Giant Sequoia Trees that people couldn't believe the reports of their size were real. There were those who said it was all a hoax, but seeing is believing. I made this photograph, hoping to capture a sense of how big a mature Giant Sequoia tree really is. My friend who helped with the photo shoot is feeling oh so small beside this giant on the Grant Grove Trail.
