About Brett Harvey
Welcome to Wild State Photography! My love of photography as well as the outdoors began years ago when I attended high school in LA. In my high school photography classes I picked up some basic skills, spent countless hours working in the darkroom and learned about some of the greats like Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. A couple of trips to the Sierras around that time, and I was hooked on the outdoors. I've been exploring it ever since. While my personal travels have taken me all over the world, I continue to have a deep love and appreciation for the beauty of California. My home state has such a rich and diverse landscape, hundreds of miles of gorgeous coastline, both high and low deserts, incredible mountain scenery and grasslands. California's colorful history is also a source of personal interest to me, especially the early years with its Spanish and western architecture. I'm delighted to share these images from the last few years with you, and I hope that you find something here to enjoy or give as a gift to a friend or loved one.
